Over the last 8 years Sub Zero have worked hand in hand with High Seat Ltd to complete their roll out of new stores and store refurbishment works. Installations as far afield as Aberdeen, Swansea, Truro and Southend were completed always on time, on budget with zero returns to site for snagging.

Each project has it’s complications and difficulties to overcome but the experienced Sub Zero team of design and installation engineers simply get on with the job at hand.

The Sub Zero team were recently asked by our client to evaluate the cost implications of moving equipment from one site to another to provide a cost-effective means of heating a newly renovated store that had previously used a gas central heating system.

After careful cost analysis was completed the Sub Zero team were asked to remove two heat pump units from a Leicester store and re-locate them to Southampton. All works were completed within 3 days to give the newly refurbished store heating and cooling and a constant temperature all year round, a vital part of the HSL customer experience.

A final cost calculation gave an estimated saving of over £2,500 by simply moving the equipment with further cost savings anticipated due to the energy efficiency of the heat pump systems when compared to the old conventional heating system.
